Insulinoma is the commonest pancreatic endocrine tumour.
10% are malignant, 10% are multiple.
If multiple, 50% are associated with MEN-1.
Presentation tends to be with the symptoms of hypoglycaemia (revise battle 29.1 if you need to be reminded of these)
Diagnosis is by supervised prolonged fasting.
Treatment is surgical excision.
